ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an Account Manager with a passion for food to join our Wholesale team at Daylesford Organic. If you thrive in a dynamic environment where collaboration and commercial success go hand in hand you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing and growing one of Daylesford's biggest customer accounts. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive impactful growth within a market-leading organic brand. Based at our Daylesford Farm office in the Cotswolds, this role is full time, 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary RESPONSIBILITIES Build and maintain strong relationships with our customer, ensuring alignment and sustained growth. Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across sales, finance, operations, and logistics. Drive financial success, achieve the budgeted sales and EBITDA and ensure sustainable profitability. Hit ambitious sales targets - Deliver the budgeted sales, maximising revenue and growth. Expand our product offerings, securing new line listings strengthening market presence and customer choice. Create a dynamic seasonal strategy - Develop a Joint Business Plan (JBP) that aligns with seasonal trends and customer demand. Optimise promotions - Design and implement an annualised promotional plan that drives engagement and sales. Shape brand visibility by delivering a strategic annual marketing plan that enhances brand awareness and customer retention. Manage cost negotiations by successfully pushing through cost price increases, ensuring commercial viability and sustainability. Monitor performance metrics, analyse trends, and proactively identify opportunities for business development and operational improvements. Ensure smooth communication and coordination between internal teams and external partners to optimise product offerings and service levels. Take ownership of forecasting, and planning, ensuring strategic goals are met while delivering exceptional value to our customer. SKILLS YOU WILL BRING 5 years proven experience in account management or sales, preferably with organic food, FMCG, or retail industries. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecast sales, and analyse performance data. Excellent relationship-building skills, confident in liaising with the customer, senior stakeholders and operational teams. Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, able to align business goals with the customer needs. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - experience with data analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making. Highly organised and adaptable - comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
