Supply Primary Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Longfield

Working as an LSA is a rewarding opportunity to support children with varying learning requirements in their journey to achieving their individual milestones.
Duties:
1. Supporting teachers and pupils across various year groups and subjects.
2. Delivering focused 1:1 or small-group interventions to help learners thrive.
3. Promoting a positive learning environment and encouraging student engagement.
4. Assisting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
5. Contributing to the preparation of creative and interactive learning resources.
6. Feeding back on pupil progress to teaching staff and helping to tailor learning.
The ideal applicant will have:
7. A genuine enthusiasm for working with children of all abilities.
8. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
9. Flexibility and confidence to adapt quickly in new settings.
10. Previous school-based experience is preferred; other kinds of education experience will be considered.
11. An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
