Overview
We are seeking dynamic and results-driven Sales Executives and Team Leaders to join our growing team.
The ideal Sales Team Leader will have a strong background in B2B sales, demonstrating exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in Salesforce. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving sales performance.
Our Team Leaders will manage a small team of Sales FTEs, supported by one field sales colleague per team. In addition to achieving their own individual targets, Team Leaders are responsible for driving team performance by managing pipelines, forecasting, and ensuring effective opportunity management. Quality is at the heart of sales performance, and KPI’s will include (but are not limited to):
* Call statistics, including call-to-sale conversion rates
* ODFs
* Mis-sales and complaints reporting, along with management of feedback
* Reporting weekly/monthly/quarterly team performance to Sales manager
Duties
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve individual and team targets.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and field activity.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
* Utilise Salesforce to track sales activities, manage leads, pipelines, and reporting on performance metrics.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings and service delivery.
* Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring compliance with company policies.
* For Team Leaders: manage a small team of sales FTEs and a field sales colleague, driving team performance while achieving personal targets.
* For Team Leaders: oversee pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity management, ensuring quality is at the heart of sales performance.
* For Team Leaders: monitor KPIs including pillar sales targets, call-to-sale conversion, ODFs, contact quality, and mis-sales/complaints handling with structured feedback management.
Experience
* Proven experience in B2B sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Previous experience successfully leading a sales team to a high standard, driving performance, and coaching individuals to achieve their goals.
* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and implement improvements to enhance sales performance and deliver measurable results.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, forecast accurately, and make informed decisions.
* Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM software) is essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
