JOB TITLE: Customer Service Officer (Part Time) LOCATION: Hounslow, Hybrid working available PAY RATE: £17.09 PAYE / £22.65 Umbrella per hour START DATE: ASAP DURATION: 3-month initial contract Hours: 18 hours a week (3 days) IR35 STATUS: Inside About the Role As a Customer Service Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for residents, employees, and members accessing council services through multiple channels. You'll play a key role in resolving enquiries, offering guidance, and empowering residents to access services online, while providing holistic support to those who need it most. What You'll Do Provide accurate information, assistance, and guidance to residents, businesses, and partners. Resolve enquiries at first point of contact wherever possible. Signpost customers to other agencies when appropriate and take a holistic approach to their needs. Support residents with digital services, including registering accounts and completing applications. Process transactions and manage service requests in line with Service Level Agreements. Offer cover for Localities Officers when required to ensure service resilience.About You A role model for our values, creating conditions for residents and colleagues to succeed.
