Role Overview: As an Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a key role in delivering planned learning activities, supporting pupil progress, and stepping in for class teachers where needed. Your support will be vital to maintaining a high standard of education and inclusion across the school. Role Responsibilities: Lead small group sessions and deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the teacher. Support pupils with diverse needs, including those with SEND. Assist in planning, preparation, and assessment under teacher guidance. Help create a positive and engaging classroom environment. Foster good behaviour and a respectful learning atmosphere. Work collaboratively with staff and contribute to school life. Requirements for HLTA: Hold a recognised HLTA qualification or have relevant experience in a similar role is desirable. Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum. Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills. ECTs welcome to apply.
