The Position:
Reporting to the Telemarketing Team Leader, you will responsible for assisting in leading the sales team. The team has 9 – 12 telemarketing representatives and the key focus of the role is to lead, coach and develop them ensure that targets are achieved in a compliant manner. You will be expected to support the team as well as maintain your own targets. A clear understanding of managing or coaching an inbound team is vital.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
* To deputise in managers absence.
* Dealing with call audit issues – feeding back to team members
* Coaching and sharing best practice amongst the team.
* Lead team meetings
* Compiling reports.
* Sending sales updates.
* Addressing system issues.
* Liaising with key stakeholders e.g. IT, Underwriting, Actuaries
* Assisting with training of new staff.
* Identify potential improvements and make recommendations to management
* Actively support all team members and provide assistance to enable all operational goals to be achieved.
Skills / Experience
* Proven track record of meeting/exceeding ANP target
* Strong customer focus with ability to identify and solve problems
* Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication
* Ability to exercise judgement
* Ability to organise, prioritise and manage workflow to meet individual and team requirements
* The ability to work well in a team environment
* Basic system navigation and Microsoft application skills
* Good keyboard skills
* Regulatory awareness
* Preferable experience of an advised sales process
* A self starter with the ability to work under own initiative and be proactive
