The Governing Body of Ysgol Llanfyllin is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic professional Examinations Officer. You should be highly organised, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
The Examinations Officer will be responsible for the organisation and smooth running of both internal and external examinations and act as the primary liaison between the school and the external examination bodies. Acting on behalf of the School as an exam centre, you will be the main point of contact relating to the general administration of awarding body examinations and assessments at all stages of the exams cycle.
The post holder will ensure that Ysgol Llanfyllin is compliant with the Awarding Body regulations, requirements and the security and integrity of examinations/assessments and that exams are conducted in accordance with the regulations.
This role will work closely with teachers, heads of department, members of the Senior Leadership Team and will manage the invigilation team. The role also has some responsibility for data management and statutory re-turns and any other duties commensurate with the role.
Grade 6, 42 weeks per year, 37 hours per week.
Welsh language skills are desirable for this post.
An Enhanced DBS check will be required for this post.
