We are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in the NG8 area, currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join their team on a flexible, hourly basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for university students, aspiring teachers, or individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience while maintaining a flexible schedule.
The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher to ensure students remain engaged and on task. Work will be pre-set, and your role will focus on maintaining a positive learning environment and managing classroom behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising whole classes during teacher absences
Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials
Managing classroom behaviour effectively
Ensuring a safe and productive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
Confident communicators with a proactive attitude
Strong organisational and classroom management skills
Reliability and punctuality
Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
