MINOR INJURIES EMERGENCY NURSE PRACTITIONER/EMERGENCY CARE PRACTITIONER. BAND 6. Trained and Trainee posts available.

We have an exciting opportunity for trained and trainee Emergency Nurse Practitioners (ENP) or Emergency Care Practitioners (ECP) to join the Minor Injuries team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.

The Minor Injuries Unit is closely affiliated with the RIE Emergency Department and has close connections to the Minor Injuries services at the Western General Hospital and St John’s Hospital.

The ideal candidate would be an experienced ENP or Allied health professional, with accredited Minor Injuries training at Level 10 or above, Clinical Assessment and Decision Making or equivalent and V300 Non Medical Independent Prescribing qualifications.

Trained candidates would be required to have completed an accredited Minor Injuries course at minimum and would be expected to complete the V300 Independent Prescribing Qualification and CADM in post.

The post is also open to experienced nurses or AHPs with a passion for Minor Injuries, the ability to work autonomously and a willingness take on the training required.

All candidates would be fully supported to complete the structured academic and in house training programme, including study leave.
