Finance Manager – Bolton (Hybrid)
£50,000 – £55,000 + up to 10% bonus | 3 days office / 2 days home

What you’ll be doing

Own the month-end close (WD5) and deliver sharp WD7 board packs
*
Lead cashflow forecasting (13-week rolling) and weekly cash meetings
*
Drive WIP, revenue recognition, and margin tracking
*
Improve working capital through collections, supplier terms, and stock control
*
Manage banking relationships and investor due diligence
*
Oversee payroll accuracy, HR data, and compliance (VAT, PAYE, pensions, GDPR, insurance)
*
Develop and lead a small finance team (PL, SL, Credit Control)
*
Enhance processes, reporting, and MI across the function
About you
*
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong SME experience
*
Skilled in cash forecasting, working capital, and project accounting
*
Confident with banks, auditors, and external advisers
*
Hands-on with payroll/HR and compliance
*
Strong Excel + BI skills (Zoho a plus)
Bonus points if you’ve:

Built WD5/WD7 reporting before
*
Worked with leasing/asset finance or funders
