Schools are offering both full-time and part-time opportunities, with long-term placements that can lead to permanent roles for the right individuals.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring continuity of learning by supervising pre-prepared lessons during teacher absence. You will help maintain a positive and focused classroom environment, ensuring students remain engaged and on task throughout the lesson.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising pre-set lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
* Delivering clear instructions to students and ensuring they stay on task
* Supporting students with lesson activities where appropriate
* Providing feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and behaviour
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
* Be confident managing a classroom and maintaining positive behaviour
* Be professional, proactive, and adaptable in different school environments
* Be open to both full-time and part-time opportunities
* Show a genuine interest in education and long-term progression within schools
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
