Shoreditch Design is seeking a talented Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team at our wonderful London HQ.

Tasks and responsibilities
* Work across a variety of job types. While most briefs are UX/UI or product-focused, you'll also get stuck into branding, graphic design, pitch decks, animation storyboards and more.
* Lead complex, fixed-term jobs – including client and project management – ensuring timely delivery to our silver-service standard.
* Collaborate with designers to create exceptional digital products and websites that exceed client expectations, demonstrating best practices, creativity, and commercial impact.
* Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines that ensure consistency and quality across all our work.
* Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, user requirements and technical constraints – and translate them into elegant, intuitive, effective designs.
* Lead design sprints, workshops and presentations that engage clients and explain our process and problem-solving approach.
* Mentor junior and mid-weight designers, offering feedback, support and guidance to help them grow.
* Proactively identify opportunities to improve productivity and processes across the wider team.
Essential skills and experience
* At least 5 years of experience as a UX/UI or Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design thinking and process.
* Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. Bonus points for After Effects, Webflow, Framer or similar.
* Deep understanding of design systems, interaction design, user-centred design and product principles.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills – you can clearly articulate your thinking, rationale and vision to both clients and stakeholders.
* Experience leading projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

* £50–70k salary depending on experience

Time away
* 28 days holiday (including Christmas shutdown)
* An extra day of holiday for each year of service
* 3-month unpaid sabbatical after 3 years
* 3-month unpaid sabbatical plus £10k after 6 years
* 4 weeks "work from anywhere" each year
* Hybrid model: 3 days a week in-office (Thursdays mandatory)
* 5 days a week in-office required during 3-month probation

Our standard hiring process
We want to make sure that you like us as much as we like you;
* First interview: 20-minute call with the Studio founder/CEO to discuss why you think you’d be suitable for the role, your experience & qualifications.
* Second interview: a 1-hour interview with 3 members of the team (spanning a range of roles).
* Interview task: If the match looks good, we’ll invite you for a paid interview task to show us what you can do.
* Final interview: Presentation of interview task and meeting the wider team.
