Job Description
3. Serve as a Responsible Individual (RI) signing off on audit reports and taking ultimate responsibility for audit quality
4. Lead, manage, and develop the audit team, providing technical direction and mentorship
5. Build and maintain strong client relationships at senior stakeholder level
6. Oversee complex audit engagements from planning through to completion
7. Ensure all audit work complies with relevant regulatory standards, firm methodologies, and quality control procedures
8. Identify and manage audit risks effectively
9. Drive business development initiatives and contribute to practice growth
10. Collaborate with partners and other service lines to deliver integrated solutions
11. Stay current with evolving audit regulations, standards, and industry trends
12. Contribute to the strategic direction of the audit practice
The Successful Applicant
13. ACA/ACCA qualified with current RI status
14. Minimum 8+ years post-qualification experience in audit, including 3+ years at senior management level
15. Proven track record of managing diverse audit portfolios and complex engagements
16. Excellent technical knowledge of UK GAAP
17. Strong understanding of current regulatory requirements and audit quality frameworks
18. Demonstrable experience in business development and client relationship management
19. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
20. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
21. Commercial awareness and strategic thinking capabilities
