Overview
Prospero Teaching are looking for a dedicated Science Teacher to join a friendly, well-regarded secondary school in Winchester. The school is a medium-sized mainstream school rated “Good” by Ofsted, with a welcoming and collaborative Science department. The role mainly involves teaching Science to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. The position is open to both Early Career Teachers and more experienced educators. For the right person, there’s potential for the role to be extended or made permanent.
Responsibilities
* Teach Science to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
* Contribute to a collaborative Science department and participate in regular professional development opportunities.

Experience, Training And Qualifications
* QTS or equivalent
* Minimum 1 year Maths teaching experience in the UK
* Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year
* To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
o Hold Right to Work in the UK
o Hold an enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
o Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last 2 years
