PRIVATE MEDICAL CENTRE
We are looking for a professional, organised and friendly Receptionist/Administrator to join our busy private medical clinic
This is a key front-of-house Reception and administrative role within a high-quality clinical environment. The successful candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced setting, supporting both patients and clinical teams with efficiency and care.
Hours Monday 11-8pm
Tuesday 6 hours admin plus reception
Wednesday to be confirmed
Friday 9-6.30pm
Extra hours adhoc as and when needed .
Includes rotational weekend cover, helping out when needed. (Saturday or Sunday)
Holiday and sickness cover essential for this role .
Preparing and organising pre-surgery paperwork and theatre lists
Arranging X-rays, scans and diagnostic appointments
Preparing patient files ahead of surgical clinics.
Liaising with consultant surgeons, clinicians and theatre teams.
Communicating clearly with patients regarding appointments and procedures.

Previous reception or administrative experience (medical/clinical setting desirable

We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist/Administrator to join our team. Duties
* Greet visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner at the front desk
* Manage phone system ,screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
* Schedule appointments and manage calendar bookings
* Perform data entry, filing, and maintain organized records for efficient office operation
* Handle correspondence via email and postal mail, including proofreading documents for accuracy
* Use QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking
* Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously
* Support medical duties as needed, including patient check-in and insurance verification
* Maintain professionalism with phone etiquette and excellent organizational skills to ensure a welcoming environment
Requirements
* Proven experience in office administration, clerical work, or receptionist roles; medical reception roles an advantage or medical admin
* Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and data entry skills
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment .
* Exceptional customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette
* Experience with calendar management, proofreading, filing systems, and time management techniques .
* Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 32 per week
