Overview
We are looking for someone with the right experience and ability to work as an effective team member, providing clinical leadership and advice on the efficient and smooth running of our services. This full‑time post will support the continued delivery of personalised, high‑quality care for women in North Derbyshire and the surrounding area.
Responsibilities
• Deliver antenatal care for women with pre‑existing medical conditions and for pregnancies that are high‑risk due to fetal reasons.
• Provide flexible coverage for both Maternity and Gynaecology, including assessment and treatment of emergency patients presenting to the department.
• Provide cover for scan clinics and contribute to the East Midlands and Yorkshire Fetal Medicine Networks.
• Join regional fetal medicine MDTs as required.
Qualifications
• Skilled in fetal medicine with a SITM in fetal care, or relevant contingent SITMs, or accreditation to an equivalent advanced skills module with obstetric scanning.
• Additional accreditations are desirable; we can support further development of skills that complement the special interests.
