Are you an experienced Echo based Physiologist? Do you want to use your skills and expertise to contribute to the development of a brand new Cardiology Centre? Are you looking to improve your work life balance?
KIMS Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Echo-based Physiologist to join our Outpatient Cardiology team as a Senior Cardiac Physiologist. You will be a key member of the multi-disciplinary Cardiology team, liaising with Consultant Cardiologists in the provision of a full range of outpatient non-invasive cardiac investigations.
This role is ideal for an experienced Cardiac Physiologist who is totally patient focused with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Your working hours will be between Monday and Friday. Available Shift times will be 8am – 4pm, 9am – 5pm, 10am – 6pm.
Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Cardiac Physiologist you will:
1. Carry out a full range of outpatient Cardiac Investigations including ECG, Stress Echo Tests, Echocardiograms.
2. Support the cardiorespiratory lead in managing the day-to-day delivery of services in the cardiorespiratory department.
3. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols within the cardio-respiratory department.
4. Contribute to the training and development of staff in the cardiorespiratory department.
5. Ensure that own professional development is maintained and enhanced.
Person Specification
Essential
6. Be a qualified Cardiac Physiologist.
7. Have post qualification experience as an echo-based physiologist to BSE standards.
8. Display excellent interpersonal skills, you will easily engage with colleagues and consultants to build effective working relationships.
Desirable
9. Experience carrying out other outpatient cardiology testing including Stress Echo, TILT and ETT.
10. Experience in Electrophysiology
