About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional candidate to fulfil the role as a full‑time physiotherapist, working primarily with the U18 squad whilst also taking a strategic operational role across the entire Academy at Doncaster Rovers. The focus is on injury prevention and rehabilitation, with an additional responsibility to support the transition of player development from the academy into the first team squad by managing the medical department effectively.
As a HCPC registered physiotherapist, the post holder will work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team and be a member of the academy leadership team (ALT). They will demonstrate teamwork and act on their own initiative with strong communication skills. They will be skilled in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries and able to use objective markers to guide the return‑to‑play process. They will also support the development of part‑time therapists and physios to ensure a high quality of practice.
About The Candidate
We are looking for a candidate ideally with previous experience in football; however, this would not exclude candidates who have strong clinical skills and a passion for working within the footballing environment. We seek a highly motivated physio who can communicate effectively, maintain a high standard of clinical record‑keeping, and deliver evidence‑based rehabilitation. The ITMMIF qualification is essential, while an ATMMIF qualification is preferred. The candidate must also be a HCPC registered physiotherapist.
About The Club

Requirements
Applicants must hold a full driving licence with access to a suitable vehicle and have an in‑date MOT, road tax and relevant insurance if they intend to do business mileage for Club Doncaster. It is the employee's responsibility to ensure up‑to‑date documentation is provided to Club Doncaster.
