Job Summary
As a Primary Care Nurse you may work in reception, the healthcare department, or on the prison wings. Your days will be varied and demanding, providing comprehensive health care to inmates.

Salary
Annual salary £34,428 – £41,659, depending on experience.

Candidate Requirements
Legal right to work in the UK. Offer is subject to additional vetting and security checks.
Responsibilities
* Work within a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver a nurse‑led service and prevent hospital admissions.
* Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and conduct reception screening.
* Deliver nurse‑led clinics for your patient group, supported by the multidisciplinary team.
* Provide evidence‑based care, listening to and acting on patient feedback to personalise care.
* Deliver non‑judgemental care that makes a real difference.
* Forge strong links with partners and stakeholders.
* Promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence‑based care, and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of shared learning.
* Share knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure safe care, building strong multi‑disciplinary teams.
Qualifications
Essential
* Registered Nurse (Adult) – NMC
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development
* Understanding of multi‑disciplinary and multi‑agency working
* Non‑judgemental and compassionate approach
* Excellent communication skills
Desirable
* Experience in a hospital, community or prison environment
