As a Driver, you’ll work on our day Network, delivering pallets to customer locations across the region. You’ll be working a minimum of 40 hours (plus overtime) per week, Monday to Friday. In return, we offer £13.79 an hour including allowances. You’ll also benefit from high street discounts, a cycle-to-work scheme, a workplace pension, holiday pay, and other perks. We provide ongoing CPC training, and through XPO University, relevant courses and apprenticeships to support your career progression in logistics.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Deliver to customer sites
* Start at 06:00
* Operate your vehicle safely, adhering to XPO standards
* Receive full training on routes and roles
* Handle pallets, larger items, pump truck, and tail lift
* Deliver to secure locations on sites
What you need to succeed at XPO:
* Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement
* No more than six penalty points; no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements
* Valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
* Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
