Role and responsibilities
As an Industrial Placement Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, coordination, and supervision of construction projects, on time and to the required quality. This role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and a foundation in quantity surveying.
What will your day-to-day duties include?
* Assisting in the planning, execution, and management of projects.
* Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to support project objectives.
* Conducting research and analysis to inform project decisions and strategies.
* Preparing reports, presentations, and documentation related to project activities.
How placement works
Kier is committed to encouraging talent and providing opportunities for growth. When you join, you will be enrolled onto our industrial placement scheme. The programme will take 12 months to complete and immerse you in construction, providing practical experiences to support your degree.
What are we looking for?
We\'re looking for students undertaking a degree in Construction Management or a related field, who have the option or requirement to complete a placement year from 2025 - 2026. After your placement, you\'ll be returning to university with a graduation year of 2027.
