Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Macclesfield who are looking for a full-time Learning Support Assistant starting after the May half-term. The school are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about the early development of young students. About the role: Start date after May half-term, with the opportunity for a permanent contract in September Opportunity to earn £85-£110 per day (dependent on experience) As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work 1:1 with students who require additional social and emotional support. You will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to create and implement individualised learning plans which cater to the specific needs of the children, ensuring the national curriculum is accessible to all learning needs. Additionally, you will communicate with parents/carers and SLT to provide progress reports and feedback on the student’s academic development. What we’re looking for: Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable Experience working with SEN is essential for this role Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both students and members of staff A genuine passion for the academic development of young individuals Safeguarding training (this must be done through Teaching Personnel) To be considered for this role, applicants must have an enhanced child only DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.
