The opportunity As a Senior Advisory Consultant within our growing UK&I Advisory Practice, you will be an integral part of our client delivery team, supporting the delivery of cybersecurity strategies. This role focuses on supporting clients across the UK’s Defence sector. We’re looking for someone with experience directly supporting the UK MoD or indirectly supporting via a Defence Prime Contractor (e.g. BAE, Leonardo, Atkins). There is also potential to support non-defence accounts where appropriate. The candidate must be eligible to obtain a security clearance - SC level. Responsibilities Promoting and influencing practice growth Support the delivery of billable customer engagements across the UK Defence Sector Work alongside experienced team members, delivering solutions and services to Defence clients Assist in maintaining client relationships through excellent service delivery, identifying opportunities to grow the account, and identifying where Atos products and services could provide value Strategic Contribution Support the delivery of value through security assessments and strategy development Assist with security architecture reviews and designs Support regulatory compliance initiatives Help develop security transformation roadmaps Contribute to cloud security solutions Support innovation and research activities Customer Focus Help create client value by delivering security improvements Assist with security capability assessments Contribute to technical documentation and deliverables Help prepare client presentations and materials Support workshop delivery and client meetings Conduct research and analysis Client Engagement Support Typical activities include leading client workshops such as security strategy sessions, Cloud security architecture reviews, risk assessment workshops, technology evaluation sessions Produce client materials including Security assessment reports, technical architecture diagrams, implementation roadmaps, and project status updates Conduct security assessments by gathering and analysing security documentation, reviewing configurations, documenting findings and recommendations, and supporting evidence collection Conduct focused research on topics, emerging security technologies, industry regulations and compliance, security vendor capabilities, best practice frameworks Focus areas including security vendor capabilities, industry regulations and standards, implementation approaches, best practice frameworks, and emerging threats Skills We Can’t Do Without Technical Foundation: 3–5 years of security experience in the Defence Sector MoD Security GRC/Assurance Processes and MoD Cyber Operations Secure by Design and RMADs/Risk Assessment SOC tool evaluation support, SIEM use case development, metrics and reporting frameworks, and technology integration assessment Cyber Vulnerability Investigation Cloud security architecture documentation, security controls mapping and compliance checking automation Additional Requirements Identity & Access & OT Security: IAM architecture reviews, privileged access solutions, authentication technology assessment, and Zero Trust implementation planning OT Risk Assessment/Assurance and OT Vulnerability Management Benefits 25 days annual paid leave Pension contributions up to 10% Private medical scheme Life assurance Flex Benefits program Unlimited Learning Opportunities We are a care leaver friendly employer.
