CNC Machinist

We are currently partnering with a well-established and growing engineering business to recruit a skilled CNC Machinist to join their expanding team. This role would suit a motivated and detail-oriented machinist who takes pride in their work and thrives in a collaborative yet focused workshop setting.
The Role As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality components from engineering drawings. You’ll be working to tight tolerances and deadlines, with a strong emphasis on maintaining exceptional standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme, set, and operate CNC machines from technical drawings
2. Manufacture components to tight tolerances and high specifications
3. Ensure all work meets strict quality standards
4. Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
5. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a productive workshop environment
About You
6. Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
7. Strong CNC and manual milling experience (essential)
8. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
9. High attention to detail and commitment to quality
10. Flexible, reliable, and a strong team player
Desirable (but not essential):
11. Experience with Hurco CNC machines
12. Familiarity with Siemens and/or Fanuc controls
13. CNC turning experience
Training can be provided for the right candidate with the right attitude and foundational skills.

Working Hours

Location This is an on-site role based in Watton. Candidates must be able to reliably commute or be willing to relocate prior to starting.
