Location: Scotstoun (Hybrid working)
£33.92 an hour Umbrella Inside IR35
Duration: 6 Month Contract initially
This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading Defence organisations based in Scotstoun. Hybrid working involves 1-2 days per week onsite.
Core Activities
* Support the design, modifications, and improvements of various electrical systems in accordance with standards and best practices, including LV Distribution, QPS, Electrical Safety, and others.
Key Accountabilities
* Develop design specifications and perform design activities aligned with quality and technical standards.
* Participate in developing and maintaining engineering processes and procedures.
* Conduct technical analyses and prepare reports with recommendations.
* Prepare technical specifications and develop designs accordingly.
* Contribute to process improvements within the team.
* Liaise with customers and suppliers on engineering matters.
* Provide guidance to less experienced team members.
* Support team decisions and make technical decisions within your responsibility.
* Respond to technical queries related to your work.
Qualifications and Knowledge
* Degree in a technology, engineering, or science discipline.
* Working towards registration as an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer.
* Good knowledge of current discipline aspects.
* Ability to perform analysis and make sound judgments.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
