The Role
We are working with a leading contractor based in Dungannon to recruit an Estimator.
You will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for civils and water/wastewater infrastructure, including public realm works, utilities, treatment plants, pipelines, pumping stations, and drainage systems throughout the UK and Ireland. Working closely with the Framework and Commercial Managers and the wider Civils team within the company in a rewarding environment.
You will;
1. Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs. This includes evaluating drawings, specifications, and project documents.
2. Play a key role in the ECI process, providing cost advise and optioneering solutions during the design process
3. Perform accurate quantity take-offs of civil works (earthworks, pipelines, structures, etc.) from design plans.
