Position: Behaviour Mentor

Salary Scale: £85-£100
Contract Type: Full time, Temporary to Permanent
GSL Education London are looking for Behaviour Mentors in Hounslow area to help students who struggle with behaviour issues by offering them focused as a behaviour mentor. You will help create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for all students by collaborating closely with the teaching staff and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities for Behaviour Mentor:
Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to provide behavioural support.
Execute and assist in the creation of behaviour support plans..
Foster positive relationships with students, promoting emotional regulation and social skills development.
Work together with educators to comprehend and apply strategies for students who present behavioural challenges.
Monitor and track the progress of students with behavioural challenges, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
Participate in the development and execution of programs for behaviour intervention.
Support the development of positive behaviour across the school community.
As a Behaviour Mentor, the you must have:
Prior experience in a related position, especially emphasizing helping students with behavioural issues.
A sincere love of learning and assisting students with their various needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy, perseverance, and the capacity to forge strong bonds with students.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic educational setting.
An understanding of different learning styles and the ability to tailor support for students with behavioural challenges.
Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service.
