Claims Handler | Essential Skills:
* Minimum 1 year’s office experience
* Excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal)
* Ability to prioritise workload and work in an organised manner
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in daily tasks
* Polite and professional telephone manner, with a positive, ‘can do’ approach
* Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with clients and claimants over the phone
* Good computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Experience handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
* Strong team player with the ability and confidence to work independently when required
Claims Handler | Desirable Skills:
* Previous experience in insurance or claims handling
* Experience in customer service or client-facing roles
* Familiarity with claims management systems or CRM software
* Confidence to proactively manage caseloads and provide timely updates to clients and stakeholders
Claims Handler | Overview:
We are working with a well-established insurance services provider who is looking to expand their team with the addition of a Claims Handler in their Brentwood office.
This is a varied and rewarding role for an organised, client-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for handling insurance claims from first notification through to resolution, ensuring that all claims are processed efficiently, accurately, and in line with company and regulatory standards.
Working alongside senior claims professionals and liaising with insurers, clients, and third parties, you will manage a caseload, provide regular updates, and support clients through what can often be a challenging time.
The role suits someone who takes pride in delivering a high standard of service, maintains attention to detail, and communicates with clarity and empathy.
