We are currently looking for enthusiastic candidates to join our friendly and professional team as a Leisure Assistant.
You may be an experienced lifeguard / leisure assistant, a recently qualified lifeguard, or someone looking to take their first steps in the leisure industry.
A Leisure Assistant job role is customer facing, therefore we are looking for candidates who are committed to ensuring leisure centre users feel welcomed and have a positive experience .
Duties will include lifeguarding poolside at various times, cleaning tasks and greeting our centre users.
*To be successful in this role, you will:*
* Have an up-to-date Pool Lifeguard and First Aid qualification (or able to complete prior to start date).
* Have excellent observational and communication skills.
* Be able to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
* Be a team player with a proactive attitude.
Previous lifeguarding experience is a plus.
