Senior Sports Underwriter / Sports Product Lead
Victor Insurance UK is seeking an experienced Senior Sports Underwriter / Sports Product Lead to join our Underwriting team. This role is based in London, Bristol, Leeds or Essex and operates as a hybrid position that requires at least three days per week in the office.
This position supports our 2028 growth strategy by scaling the Sports Practice within Victor UK.
Responsibilities
* Own the existing Sports products and underwriting strategies ensuring we maintain a compelling proposition for our customers and broker partners.
* Use your market experience and connections to identify future growth opportunities for the Sports Practice, ensuring that we are accounting for the evolving insurance needs in this sector and always deliver good customer outcomes.
* Clearly set the direction for our Sports underwriters empowering them to deliver for our brokers and our insurance capacity providers.
* Personally support the development of key broker relationships.
* Act as the senior authority holder for Sports in the UK and represent Victor UK in the Sports insurance market.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with our insurance capacity providers. Build trust by demonstrating a detailed understanding of account performance dynamics and developing proactive steering strategies which deliver insurer targets.
* Develop and deliver the Victor UK business plan for Sports and collaborate and support your peers to ensure our overall objectives are achieved.
What you need to have
* A clear vision for a Sports proposition which delivers for customers, our brokers and our insurer partners.
* Extensive experience in the Sports insurance sector.
* Excellent communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* The enthusiasm and energy to drive the continued development of Victor’s standing in the market and deliver the Victor UK 2028 goals.
