The ideal candidate will be a confident, highly skilled nurse with strong high-risk OB experience, capable of working in a fast-paced acute care environment. This unit manages a variety of L&D patients, including high-risk obstetrics, cesarean sections, and triage/inpatient cases. Roles and Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients Assist with deliveries and scrub for C-sections Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using appropriate equipment and charting systems Administer medications and IV infusions, including magnesium Perform full patient assessments and documentation Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards Certifications Required: ACLS (AHA) BLS (AHA) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) RN-C preferred Education: BSN required Active New York RN license
