Our client is looking to recruit a Part-time Receptionist for their busy surgery\n\nYou will be well presented and work well within a team.\n\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities\n\n * Processing of medical records and data entry as per practice protocols\n\n * Processing of new registrations, making up new files\n\n * General filing\n\n * Prompt telephone answering, in a calm, positive, courteous and helpful manner\n\n * Booking of appointments for clinical colleagues according to practice policy\n\n * Accurately recording messages and communicating this information\n\n * Communicating results to patients ensuring the confidential nature of this information is protected at all times\n\n * Knowledge of relevant practice protocols and complaints procedure\n\n * Issuing of repeat prescriptions as per practice policy\n\n * To gain a thorough knowledge of the computer systems\n\n * General administration skills necessary for the smooth running of the Practice including appointment lists, answer phone, divert facility, operation of telephone system\n\n * Communicating with staff at all levels within the Practice and at hospitals as required in a courteous manner\n\n * Chaperoning as requested by a clinician and to support the patients of this practice\n\n25 Hours a week. Mon, Wed, Thurs and Fri 1.30 – 6.30 Tues 8 – 1pm\n\nYou may be asked to work some overtime to cover annual leave/sickness, but this would be discussed in advance.\n\nThis is a temp to perm role for the right candidate
