Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Engineer to oversee various groundworks and civil engineering projects throughout the West & East Midlands. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining project timelines and managing Site Engineers over circa 6-10 projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage groundworks and civil engineering projects.
* Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Work closely with the technical manager to implement GPS and machine control technologies.
* Participate in training and development programs focused on the latest advancements in machine control and modelling.
* Maintain clear communication with the project team and subcontractors.
* Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues promptly.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in groundworks and civil engineering.
* Strong understanding of GPS and machine control systems.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
* Relevant engineering qualifications and certifications.
