Job Title: Project Coordinator
About The Team & Role
You will be joining the Digital Innovation team, part of the Digital & ICT service which delivers and supports technology solutions for officers, councillors, and partner organisations (including Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service, NHS partners, schools and other services). The Digital Innovation team includes the Digital & ICT projects management office, technical specialists, developers and the business communications/engagement team, and works alongside IT Service Management, Infrastructure and Security.
As a Project Coordinator in the Digital and Innovation team, you will support the Project Management Office to ensure successful delivery of digital projects and coordinate technical tasks within Digital & ICT. You will report to a Senior Project Manager who will provide mentorship.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have experience in project coordination with a proven ability to influence stakeholders. You should be able to articulate ideas, concepts and technical details to non-technical stakeholders, collaborate effectively with team members and other departments, and adapt to new challenges, often managing multiple areas of focus simultaneously.
Responsibilities
* Support the Project Management Office in the successful execution of digital projects.
* Coordinate technical tasks within Digital & ICT.
* Engage with stakeholders and ensure clear communication across teams.
* Assist in planning, tracking, and reporting project progress.

The Digital & ICT service supports the Council’s Agile working policy and expects team members to work a minimum of two days per week in the office (central Gloucester) and attend in-person meetings as required. New starters may be required to come into the office more often during induction.
