Our client, a well-established independent garage group in Farnham, Surrey, is seeking a dedicated Service Manager to lead their busy branch. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong technical background eager to move into a managerial position.

Duties of a Service Manager:
12. Lead and develop the workshop team to ensure operational excellence
13. Maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers
14. Manage and control profit and loss for the branch
15. Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding and meeting customer needs
16. Oversee vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and quality standards
17. Monitor and improve workshop efficiency and productivity
18. Ensure all safety, compliance, and operational procedures are followed
19. Communicate effectively with the wider team and head office
20. Drive a positive and motivating working environment
Candidate specification:
21. Proven experience within the automotive industry, ideally in a technician or technical background
22. Strong leadership and management skills
23. Customer-focused with a commercial acumen
24. Ability to analyse vehicle diagnostics and develop solutions
25. A team player who can motivate and manage staff effectively
26. Reliable, self-motivated, and committed
27. Full UK driving licence
28. Willingness to commute up to 45 minutes
