The Role - Data Analyst (DV) As a Data Analyst (DV), you will join a specialist Digital Defence Services team supporting secure, multi-domain Defence environments. The Data Analyst (DV) will work closely with customers to analyse complex datasets, build insight-driven visualisations, and directly support operational and strategic decision-making. You will be part of a wider security consulting community, with clear pathways for growth and progression as a Data Analyst (DV) in a highly trusted environment. What You'll Be Doing as a Data Analyst (DV) Analyse large, complex datasets (including temporal and relational data) to identify patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights Build and maintain interactive dashboards to visualise key metrics and operational trends Work directly with customers to understand requirements and translate them into effective analytical solutions Present clear, concise insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Develop and document SQL queries, scripts, and reports for recurring and ad-hoc analysis Take analytical ownership by developing deep knowledge of customer data holdings Proactively drive improvements in analytical capability, data models, and governance practices Skills & Experience Required Proven experience working as a Data Analyst (DV), Data Analyst, or similar analytical role Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis (e.g. pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib) Hands-on experience with graph databases such as Neo4j Experience building dashboards using OpenSearch or comparable visualisation tools Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insight Solid understanding of data quality, governance, privacy, and security considerations Proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Security Clearance & Eligibility Active DV clearance is mandatory Candidates must be UK nationals Due to the nature of the work, only candidates who already hold DV can be considered Why Join as a Data Analyst (DV)?
