This role is part of our brand-new residential service, Fernside House, in Armley, Leeds. We provide a safe and supportive home for men with enduring mental health needs, and we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to person-centred, recovery-focused care.
Base pay range
Location: Fernside House, Armley, Leeds
Hours: 38.5 hours per week
Salary: £12.60 per hour (annual £25,225), plus overtime paid at £14.10 per hour
Shift Pattern: 07:45am - 07:45pm, two-week rolling rota
* Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun
* Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri

As a Support Worker, you will:
* Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person-centred care in a residential setting.
* Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents.
* Provide emotional and practical support to residents.
* Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion.
* Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community.
* Promote independence and self-confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives.
Experience Required
* Experience within a Mental Health or Residential setting
* Can build rapport with ease with not only the residents but the wider team
* Understanding the importance of offering person-centered quality care
