Growing Manager Growing Manager - Bristol - Competitive salary Benefits The Job: An established horticultural business is seeking an experienced Growing Manager to deliver targeted yields while maximising crop quality across site operations. This is a senior, hands-on role with responsibility for crop performance, operational leadership, compliance, and team development, ensuring production aligns with commercial and customer requirements. Key responsibilities include: - Managing crop performance, yield, quality, and timing across the site - Maintaining and adjusting growing blueprints and watering plans - Monitoring and optimising climate control systems to maximise efficiency - Recording and analysing daily climate conditions in each growing area - Leading Growing, Operations, and Disease Control teams - Overseeing rotas, holidays, daily workloads, and supply sourcing - Ensuring high standards of hygiene, health & safety, and biosecurity - Maintaining audit readiness and compliance with SOPs - Working closely with site leadership to deliver accurate production forecasts - Aligning crop output with harvesting and sales requirements - Recruiting, training, mentoring, and developing growers and operational staff The Company: A well established and forward-thinking agricultural producer operating to high ethical, safety and sustainability standards.
