Role: Catering Assistant REF 94961 Contract Length: Until 31/03/2026 Location: Lincoln IR35: Inside Pay Rate to Intermediary: £31.22 per hour Security Clearance: BPSS Spinwell is recruiting for a Catering Assistant for an excellent opportunity within the public sector. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CATERING ASSISTANT Operating varied shift working patterns between daily food services, daytime & evening functions and bar services alongside possible reception and accommodation management duties Operate alongside service personnel & the industry partner (ESS) to ensure catering services are provided to client in accordance with JSP 456 and ESS policy Operate & comply with all relevant statutory legislation and local orders Operate EPOS (till) systems during food and beverage services Undertake accurate cash handling and profit protection procedures Undertake stock taking procedure Undertake basic IT input tasks Undertake basic administrative tasks Ensure you are dressed correctly and adhere to the highest standards of hygiene Ensure the correct PPE is worn Adhere to all safe systems of work including UK food safety/Health & safety legislation and ESS safety systems & risk assessments Maintain the highest standards of customer service & hospitality Remain fully current in all required job competencies / KPIs as directed in local orders Maintain a high security awareness and reporting culture SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE CATERING ASSISTANT Food & beverage service/hospitality industry experience Excellent communication and customer service skills If you are a Catering Assistant, apply now or send your CV to Spinwell!
