Sales Ledger & Credit Control Assistant Location: Milton Keynes, Hybrid Job Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum (DOE) Are you an organised and detail-driven finance professional looking to develop your career in a supportive and growing team? Our client, a well-established consultancy based in Milton Keynes, is seeking a Sales Ledger & Credit Control Assistant to join their friendly Finance Department. You’ll be based at their modern offices in MK, working closely with the Finance Manager and wider finance team to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day ledger and credit control activities. What you’ll be doing: Managing customer accounts and maintaining accurate sales ledger records Chasing outstanding payments and resolving invoice queries promptly and professionally Reconciling customer accounts and assisting with month-end procedures Supporting the Finance Manager with reporting and ad-hoc finance tasks Building strong working relationships across internal teams and with external clients What we’re looking for: Previous experience in credit control and/or sales ledger roles Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Confident communicator with a proactive approach to resolving issues Competent with Excel and accounting software (experience with Xero, Sage, or similar is an advantage) A team player who enjoys contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment What’s on offer: Hybrid working: 3 days in the Milton Keynes office, 2 days from home Competitive salary: £26,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience) Ongoing support and development within a close-knit finance team Benefits included: Annual Leave, Pension, Death in Service, Private Medical Insurance, Eye Tests, Professional Membership Fees, Maternity / Adoption Pay & Paternity Pay Please note that at times due to the volume of applications we may not be able to respond to each person individually.
