Our client is a leading beverage company with a strong presence across Asia. As part of their commitment to data-driven marketing and sales strategy, they are seeking a talented Marketing Analyst to join their dynamic team in Hong Kong. You will play a key role in transforming sales and marketing data into actionable insights, designing promotional plans, analyzing promotional spending, and supporting order planning—all to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze sales data from various channels (e.g., supermarkets across regions, direct supply, distributors) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
* Design and evaluate promotional plans, including campaign structure, target segments, and channel strategy.
* Perform promotional spending and cost analysis across channels to assess ROI and recommend cost-efficient strategies.
* Develop optimal pricing strategies by channel to maximize revenue and market competitiveness.
* Support order and inventory planning by analyzing demand patterns and aligning with promotional schedules.
* Build and maintain revenue forecast models to support marketing planning and target-setting.
* Prepare regular reports and dashboards to track marketing KPIs and business performance.
* Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to provide data-driven recommendations for day-to-day execution and long-term strategy.
* Identify process improvement opportunities and propose solutions to enhance analytical capabilities and operational efficiency.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field.
* At least 3 years of experience in marketing analysis, sales/commercial analytics, or a similar role, preferably in FMCG, retail, or beverage industries.
* Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is preferred (not a must).
* Strong analytical mindset with experience in pricing analysis, promotional ROI, forecasting, and promotional plan design.
* Experience in order planning, demand analysis, or trade marketing operations is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
* Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player.
