Multiskilled Engineer
Location: Ashford
Monday to Friday - Day shift
Full time
We are recruiting a Multiskilled Engineer to support a hands-on production and workshop environment. The role involves mechanical and electrical support across heavy machinery, tooling, and process plant, with a strong focus on one-off and bespoke manufacture.
Responsibilities
* Carry out mechanical and electrical production tasks
* Assist with maintenance of machinery and workshop equipment
* Support cold weld checks and testing
* Assist with loading and unloading large items
* Carry out general workshop and building maintenance
* Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
* Strong mechanical and basic electrical skills
* Able to work effectively within a small team
* Willingness to learn and adapt
Desirable
* Forklift or gantry crane training
* Experience with lathes, grinders, and drilling machinery
* BS7671 (18th Edition)
