Business Support Manager

An exciting opportunity to support the All Age Disability (AAD) service admin team in Wirral. The role involves direct management oversight of the business support team and contribution to governance, budgeting, and contract compliance.
Main Duties
* Oversee and manage the business support team.
* Provide management support regarding governance, report writing, and other processes.
* Oversee the service budget and petty cash management.
* Coordinate responses to complaints, compliments and incidents.
* Oversee minute taking and coordination of documentation.
* Support the management team with contract compliance and performance management.
* Provide additional support with service development and improvement projects.
Qualifications
* Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
* Computer qualification (ECDL or equivalent).
* Finance or Budget Management qualification.
* PRINCE2 certification.
Knowledge and Expertise
* Knowledge of current issues within health/social services settings.
* Understanding of integrated governance arrangements within an NHS setting.
* Knowledge to interrogate systems to provide sound performance management data.
* Evidence of continued professional development and high managerial level experience.
Experience
* 2 years managerial experience within a NHS/Public Organisation working within a multi‑disciplinary setting with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Experience of providing supervision/mentoring to groups of staff.
* Experience of establishing effective systems for performance management.
* Experience of preparing agenda and producing clear and concise minutes.
* Experience of service user involvement.
* Experience of the recruitment and deployment of staff resources including change management processes.
