Telent's Network Services division is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our Engineering team based in Southampton. This role offers an opportunity to work with a skilled team of Cloud, Network, and Security specialists, supporting your growth and development through engaging projects.
The Cloud Engineer will develop and maintain technical relationships with internal and external customers, providing proactive service to ensure high customer satisfaction and acting as a bridge between the engineering team and Service Delivery, Projects, and Service Desk.

Cloud Engineer - Responsibilities:
* Train internal staff and customers on products and solutions.
* Support Professional Services and Sales within Network Services.
* Monitor customer incidents and report on accounts as needed.
* Highlight trends, security threats, or technical bulletins impacting customers.
* Manage documentation related to customer platforms and Telent Cloud Services.
* Follow internal and external processes for task management and reporting.
* Assist with PoC scenarios, Type Approval activities, and lab testing.
* Create TA, POC, RFC, WI, and SoW documentation.
* Peer review engineering documentation.
* Assist in pre-staging equipment for customer sites.
* Participate in customer meetings such as support reviews and incident reviews.
* Ensure accurate and timely timesheet submission.
* Obtain certifications aligned with business objectives.
* Complete overtime and expenses accurately.
* Adhere to GDPR and security policies.
Who You Are:
The ideal Cloud Engineer will have an interest in Cloud technologies, including some Azure, Linux, MS SCCM, and MS Exchange knowledge, with a willingness to develop these skills. You should have a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and experience in support environments, with on-premise Cloud Services experience being advantageous.
* Desirable certifications include VCP 6.x-DCV, MCSA: Windows Server 2016+, LPIC-2.
* Knowledge of Networking, SQL Server, Azure MFA, Microsoft System Configuration Manager, Exchange, VMware vCloud Director.
* Leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, problem-solving passion, and team collaboration skills.
