Job Description
3. Develop and oversee project plans, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
4. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
5. Monitor and manage project budgets, identifying and mitigating risks as needed.
6. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.
7. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies throughout project execution.
8. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
9. Prepare detailed project documentation and reports for internal and external use.
10. Support the Engineering & Manufacturing team with strategic input and guidance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Manager should have:
11. Previous experience in similar role, with heavy engineering and fabrication projects background
12. Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
13. Direct work experience in project management capacity
14. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
15. Strong commercial awareness and budgeting experience
16. Strong leadership skills
17. Solid organisational skills including attention to detail, multi-tasking skills, planning and time management skills
18. Qualification in Project Management or relevant Engineering discipline
Desirable
19. Marine industry experience
20. Experience in renewables industry, specifically offshore windfarms
21. Experience in engineering and manufacturing with understanding or hands-on experience in latest manufacturing and welding techniques
22. Chartered APM or working towards
