Location: South West England Contract: 6 months Day Rate: Competitive About the Role: Panoramic Associates are working with a Multi Academy Trust who are seeking an experienced and highly adaptable Interim School Operations Consultant to provide strategic and operational leadership across several sites in the South West. This role is ideal for a seasoned business professional who thrives in dynamic environments and can quickly build relationships, diagnose operational challenges, and implement effective solutions. Working across multiple settings, you will ensure that each school has the operational capacity, systems, and processes needed to run smoothly, enabling school leaders to focus on delivering exceptional teaching and learning. Working pattern: Full time- 5 days a week, 08:30am- 16:30pm, hybrid working pattern. Key Responsibilities: Lead and improve operational functions across multiple schools, ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency. Advise senior leaders on strategy, risk, resources, and operational best practice. Oversee budgets, financial controls, procurement, and compliance with reporting requirements. Ensure Trust-wide health and safety compliance, audits, and risk management. Provide HR support including workforce planning, recruitment, casework, and policy consistency. Maintain regulatory, safeguarding, and data protection compliance; support inspections and audits. About You You will bring: Significant experience as a School Business Manager, Operations Officer, or similar role within education. The confidence and credibility to work with multiple leadership teams and quickly understand different school contexts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to implement practical, sustainable solutions. Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder-management abilities.
