Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive SEN schools in Romsey, dedicated to meeting the needs of pupils with a wide range of additional learning and developmental needs. The school offers a nurturing environment where staff work closely to support students' academic, emotional, and social progress.
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the curriculum, both in the classroom and during individual or small group interventions. You’ll play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, develop key life skills, and engage positively with their education.
This is a varied and rewarding role that requires flexibility, patience, and a strong commitment to inclusive education.
Pupils May Present With:
Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
ADHD
Communication and interaction difficulties
Learning difficulties or complex needs
Anxiety or behavioural challenges
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN or in a care/support role (preferred but not essential)
Calm, nurturing, and adaptable under pressure
Able to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
Team-oriented and proactive
Committed to promoting wellbeing and safeguarding

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
