The Governors of De La Salle College, Jersey, are seeking to appoint a Headteacher. This is a new role created at an exciting time for the College as it implements and further develops its ambitious vision, which includes the merging of the Primary and Secondary schools. The successful candidate will lead the day-to-day operations of the School and will work closely with the Head of College/CEO to implement the strategic goals of the College.
This appointment is a great opportunity for the right individual to make a lasting impact on the College. The new Headteacher will embrace the College’s aims of empowering young men through its strong Catholic ethos and Lasallian values, leading them on an educational journey which is distinctive and allows them to be successful in their own lives.
First-class communication skills, an ability to plan and implement strategy, strong people skills and a passion for education are essential for this role. The successful applicant will be a clear communicator, able to translate vision into outcomes and able to bring out the best in others. S/he will need to be a practising Catholic in full communion with the Church.
