Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Location: Ipswich (Hybrid – 2 days a week working from home)

Sedgwick Resource Solutions is looking for an experienced Account Handler to join our client’s team a respected insurance broker with a strong reputation in the professional and financial risks space. Your New Role
As an Account Handler, you’ll be the go-to person for clients, helping them manage their insurance needs with confidence. You’ll handle renewals, prepare documents, and work closely with internal teams to make sure everything runs smoothly. It’s a role that blends client service, organisation, and problem-solving, perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships and getting things done right.
As an Account Handler, you’ll be responsible for:
• Attending face-to-face client meetings alongside the Account Executive to build strong relationships and better understand client needs
• Handling a range of commercial claims such as property, motor, liability, directors & officers (D&O), cyber, schemes, terrorism, and legal expenses (experience in all of these is not required)
• Using your claims knowledge to support clients through the claims process, ensuring clear communication and timely updates
• Managing renewals and ensuring all documentation is prepared accurately and on time
• Creating market documents and presentations for both new and existing clients
• Working closely with technical teams to help place insurance policies
• Keeping client records organised and up to date using internal systems
• Spotting opportunities to grow accounts and cross-sell services
• Delivering high-quality service that reflects the company’s values and reputation
• Managing client relationships and solving problems
