* To attend staff meetings (currently virtually) as and when required
* To assist and support other members of staff at all times
* To supervise all children and staff throughout the nursery
* To assist in formulating and operating a program of activities suitable to the age and range of children attending the Nursery, in conjunction with the Officer In Charge/Manager
· To prepare the children's records in your group and prepare reviews for parents.
* To promote pupil's development in a safe, secure and challenging learning environment
* To work with children across the full age range within the nursery
* To supervise during educational activities within the nursery or community
* To be responsible for the implementation of specific individual independence programs, e.g. toileting, behaviour management, dressing…
* To develop an understanding of the pupil's specific needs in order to help them learn as effectively as possible and maintain an up to date awareness of best practice.
* To work with other staff to develop and deliver the individual education program
· To contribute and to follow individual Health Care Plans
To act as a positive role model with a positive attitude at all times
* To work as part of a team
* To ensure that the environment is safe and secure for the children to be in and to organize any repairs that may need to be done to ensure this
* Review all health and safety policies and communicate to all staff
* To guide and assist other members of staff on the premises
* To follow all instructions deemed to be reasonable by the management
* To work in partnership with the parents
* To attend courses that are deemed suitable by the OIC.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £7.00-£13.00 per hour
